How much time will it take me to write a good resume?

Drafting, writing and editing a good CV requires at least 8 hours. This is after you have all the data you need to hand out, i.e. dates, titles and accomplishments achieved in each role. A lot of people can write a resume in just a few hours. By following a resume sample and just writing their information in place of the sample, they can do this. This is an easy and quick way, but it is not the most efficient way. Write one or two iterations before finalising your resume, if you want it to get noticed by employers.
