hi,
after passing 3 years diploma course you can join btech as lateral entry from second year of b.tech course . all state university and government private college has scheme and admission process for diploma pass students. you need to appear in state lateral entry exam test like jelet, which is the lateral entry test admission test for west bengal engineering college.
however nits and iits dont have any admission process for diploma holders.
Hello Trilochan,
After you have completed your final year of diploma, you can apply for BTech either by lateral entry or through CET. By lateral entry, I mean that you have to score minimum 60% marks and you will get direct admission for BTech in second year. You can answer CET conducted by the State and depending upon your rank, you will get admission in the engineering college.
Good luck!
