Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well....!!!

A minority certificate is an important document for people who belong to a minority community and admission with fees concession. Minorities in different cities are Christian, Muslim, Sikh, Buddha, and Parsi.

An application for grant of minority status certificate may be made to the Commission in the prescribed format if the institution’s application for grant of MSC is pending before the State Government for more than three months from the date of filing of the application or rejected by the authority prescribed by the State Government.

The institutions affiliated with CBSE/ICSE or any central affiliating authority may apply first to the state government for a grant of MSC. The applicant should move an application first before the Authority established by the state government for grant of minority status certificate.

I hope this information helps you!

All the best:)
