Hi ,

So being a du student I think I will be very helpful to you . Firstly I would recommend you to be updated on newspapers .

Times of India publishes news articles related to this and there will be an article regarding the main orientation program . I suggest you to attend that and ask your questions there itself .

But for now I m here to help you as much as I could . I can give you information according to my knowledge and research .

Admission to the UG programmes is done through qualifying examination merit/ entrance examination merit or both.

For merit based courses

Students have to pass their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

There is no minimum age bar limit to get admission into UG course in the University & its colleges (except in profession courses). Gap year(s) would be no bar for purposes of admission to the undergraduate courses.

For entrance bases courses

There is no minimum age bar limit for admission into UG & PG courses in the university & its colllege

Other eligibility like qualifying exam & percentage criteria of various courses is different .

There are 9 courses which are entrance based .all others are merit based courses .

I hope I was helpful

Hey,

Admission in UG courses is through merit basis . But there are certain courses for which entrance test is conducted like BBA, BTech, BSC etc

Courses like bcom , BA etc .

Admission procedure:

The admission process will be started after the release of admission list or cut-off. The university offer admission through merit basis or entrance test.

Students can apply for admission as per their choice of respective courses. DU Counselling process will be organized through offline mode.

It will be organized in various rounds depending upon the availability of seats. Candidates also have to go through theGD & PI rounds to get admission.
