Dear Margam,

You need to understand the pattern of NEET 2020. Since there is no change in pattern of NEET 2020 by NTA. NEET 2020 Exam pattern comprises of total 180 questions and total of 720 marks. The number of questions in each section is listed below,

  • Physics- 45
  • Chemistry- 45
  • Biology- 90 (Botany- 45 and Zoology- 45)

The marking scheme is awarded as +4 marks for every right answer and -1 for every incorrect or wrong answer. In order to avoid negative marking in NEET are,

  • Avoid answering to questions that you are unsure and unaware of
  • Keep yourself calm and composed while answering the questions.
  • Do not be too over confident with your answers. Read and analyze the possible solution and then answer the question.
  • Do not try luck testing as it might lead you to negative marking.
  • Do not choose to solve in the last minute.
