After BTech, you need to enroll in a Pilot Training Program at some Government Institute, Private University in India or Abroad or as an alternative, in a Cadet Program from one of our Reputed Airline Companies like Indigo, Spicejet or Air Asia, leading to a secure job after completing the Training Program and accomplishing your Commercial Pilot License and relevant Mandatory Health Reports. However, Commercial Flight Training, this is quite expensive despite certain funding, scholarships and loans.
Another way of becoming a Pilot, is by joining the Indian Air Force after BTech by appearing for the AFCAT Examination for Flying Branch followed by SSB Interview. If selected, after a strong 15-20 years experience with the Indian Air Force, you may join Air India as a Commercial Pilot under their scheme of recruiting ex Air Force Pilots and Flying Experts.
