To become a scientist after completing 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (PCMB), follow these steps:

1. **Choose a Bachelor's Degree**: After 12th, pursue a degree in a science-related field that aligns with your interests. Options include B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Biotechnology, or Environmental Science. For research in health sciences, you may opt for MBBS or B.Sc. in Biotechnology or Microbiology.

2. **Develop Research Skills**: During your undergraduate years, focus on developing strong analytical and research skills. Participate in science projects, internships, and research programs to gain hands-on experience.

3. **Pursue Higher Studies**: After graduation, enroll in a Master's program (M.Sc.) in your chosen field. This will deepen your knowledge and open up more research opportunities. Consider specializations that align with your interests, such as Astrophysics, Molecular Biology, or Environmental Science.

4. **Ph.D. Program**: A Ph.D. is essential to become a scientist in most fields. After your Master's, apply for Ph.D. programs where you can conduct independent research under the guidance of experts.

5. **Apply for Research Institutes**: After your Ph.D., you can work at universities, government research institutes like ISRO, DRDO, or CSIR, or private research labs.

Stay curious and dedicated, as a career in science involves continuous learning and discovery.

hope this helps you!!
