How to become an Army Doctor (private mc student) after completing MBBS & then pursuing Pg degrees from the Army college itself????

The Army Medical Corps under the Government of India annually offers short service commission for MBBS graduates who have passed the course in the first or second attempt and have completed internship as an officer. The candidate must have obtained permanent registration from any State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India.
CMS stands for the combined medical services examination which is conducted by the union public service commission of india to select the candidates for the 5 posts in different areas.
Posts are as follows-
-Assistant divisional medical officer post in indian railways.
-Junior scale post in indian ordinance factories health service.
-Junior scale posts in central health service.
-Medical officer in the municipal corporation of delhi.
-general duty medical officer in NDMC.
To apply for the same your age needs to be below 32 years. There will be the age relaxation for the SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Educational qualification -
MBBS completed candidate or final exam appearing candidate can apply for the same. At the time of verification need to submit all the document for the proof.
There will be the written examination on the first stage -
There will be 2 papers of 200 marks each both objective type.
PAper 1 200 marks - general medicine including cardiology , neurology, dermatalogy, and pshychiatry weightage should be 60%.
Paper 2 paediatrics 20%, gynocology 40% , preventive social and community medicine 40%.
Total marks need to be 400
personality test 200 marks.
* Eligibility criteria are :
Physical strands
Height - 165cm or above.
Weight - 50kg or less.
Chest width - 77-82cm.
No eye and hearing defects.

What would be the average salary earned as an army doctor??

After the approval of Central Government, the pay scale of an Army Doctor during internship as per 7 pay commission as below:
Basic: 63100; MSP: 15500; NPA: 8000
DA: as per Central Government notification.
No Grade Pay (abolished in 7 CPC)
Transport Allowance: As per Class of city (3600/7200/10800)
So the total pay common to all doctors would be around 86600 excluding various allowances. Hope this clears your doubt
