You would be required to have Science stream with PCM score in Class 12th alongwith valid score for competitive exams like MHTECT, JEE MAIN, AIEEE.
the major difference is the advantage the computer engineering students hold over software engineering, i.e. Understanding the interaction between hardware and software will be included in curricula; however, specific training on hardware development generally will not.
For software engineering, students In general, in this field will not receive training on hardware development; however, they will gain knowledge on the interplay between hardware and software.
the curriculum more or less remains same and so does the job opportunity.
