how to calculate class 12th percentage in cbse if i have 6 subjects ? should i include 5 or all 6 subjects?
In the CBSE system, students can choose to study either 5 or 6 subjects. The final score for their results is determined by adding up the marks obtained in all the subjects they have chosen.
For instance, if a candidate has opted for 5 subjects such as English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physical Education, their total score will be calculated out of 500. This includes both the theory and practical marks for all 5 subjects.
On the other hand, if a candidate has chosen 6 subjects like English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, and Physical Education, their total score will be calculated out of 600. This includes the marks obtained in both theory and practical components of all 6 subjects.

Hi Suyash,
If you have appear for the class XII examination in 6 subjects then as per CBSE guidelines to calculate your class XII percentage you have to consider the marks of 5 subjects out of the total 6 subjects.
Of these 5 subjects 1 subject has to be English and the other 4 subjects has to be the subjects in which you score the most marks and thus have to exclude the subject in which you scored the least.
BEST WISHES!
