Hello Chetan.

Percentile is totally different from percentage.

Percentile is calculated by the following method.

Suppose X no. Of students appeared for the exam. Let 50

Y students scored good in comparison to you then let5

Your percentile is =((X-Y)%X)*100

Hope it will help you.

Hello Chetan! Percentile scores are usually calculated on the basis of comparison. Like for example if you have given MHT-CET at a particular day and shift then how many students applied for that shift and comparison of your score among their scores which will give you the percentile score.
