Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) is the degree you need to pursue a career as a Veterinary Doctor in India.

In order to become a veterinary doctor . you will neet to appear for NEET UG first and secure a score to get admission in one of the various veterinary colleges like:

1) Veterinary College, Hebbal

2) BVC Mumbai - Bombay Veterinary College

3)College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CVAS), Bikaner etc

After graduating with a degree in Veterinary Science, you have to further study an MD in Veterinary Science or its related specialisation to become a certified Veterinary Doctor.

Companion animal veterinarians

Research Veterinarians

Equine veterinarian

Veterinary Science or Veterinary medicine is 5 and half year under graduate program with  including 6 months of internship. Here we deals with diagnostics ,and treatment of Disease affecting the health of domestic and wild animals.

• For getting admission in Veterinary  Science you have to appear in Entrance Exam . On the Basis of this exam merit you will get admission in this course.
• Most of the Universities conduct there own Entrance Exam  for this Course.
• Eligibility Criteria for this course - Candidate must have minimum score 50% in class 12th with Physics chemistry and Biology.
