which career has more scope veterinary or pharm d ? what to choose among these two?is veterinary related to rural areas ?
Hello,
Both are very separate disciplines.
When it comes to government employment and its place in society, BVSC (veterinary) is an area that is more established. Choose BVSc if you wish to work with animals as a veterinarian or surgeon.
Research on pharmaceuticals in clinical settings is the focus of the relatively new PharmD degree. The graduates are having difficulty finding decent, well-paying employment and government positions. You should pursue a PharmD if you are interested about pharmaceutical research. A PharmD cannot directly prescribe medications to patients, but they can assist with dose calculations and understanding drug contraindications. They are not as skilled at operating. With the system being entirely doc-patient centred, it is uncertain whether they exist in Indian contexts. In most corporate hospitals, the job of clinical pharmacists is limited to the pharmacy department. Additionally, the majority of doctors in Indian settings do not see the pharmacy doctors' suggestions for dose or pharmacy management favourably.
The mbbs community has a built-in sense of superiority due to even greater entry cutoffs, a very costly tuition at private medical schools, and a very demanding academic schedule.
Good Luck!!
