There are various Management entrance exams that you can take to get into top B Schools in India. However to get into IIMs, only CAT exam is accepted. This exam is conducted for entrance into all the IIMs. It comprises of three sections - Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation, Quantitative Ability. You need to clear all there sectionals to get a shortlist for GD-PI.

Every year CAT notification is released in 1st week of August. Then by 1st Week of October the application deadline closes and the exam is conducted in the last week of November. So keep an eye on these timelines and apply accordingly. Only students who are in the final year of graduation or have completed graduation are allowed to apply for this.

CAT is the Entrance Exam conducted by Indian Institute of Management for the admission to 20 IIMs. As per the eligibility you should have minimum 50% in your Graduation as a general category. You can check the further eligibility with the given below link.
