Hi Amith,

The best way to prepare for aiims ug exams is to stay fully focused on your ncert books of class 11th and 12th.

With them you can take help of some reference books too like: pradeep, agarwal, etc. Also, solve as much as previous years aiims and neet papers you can solve.

Join some good online test series at the end time to check your yearly prepration for the exam.

The exam pattern for aiims is as follows:-

1.physics      60 questions

2.chemistry   60 questions

3.biology        60 questions

4.gk                 10 questions

5.reasoning& logical section   10 questions

Total                   200 questions

Total marks        200 marks

+1 marks for each correct answer, while -1/3 for each incorrect answer.

As per aiims 2019 following are the cutoff percentiles for different categories:-

98.1246748- UR

95.2939507- OBC&PwD

90.2036135- SC/ST

82.2825521- SC/ST PwD

So, prepare well  and wisely with concentration to score good percentile and grab your seat in aiims.

Good luck .

Cracking the entrance examination of AIIMS requires a little extra effort as compared to NEET. You should have crystal clear concepts of all the three subjects.

Most of the questions are concept based. So to brush up your concepts you should go through the NECRT of all the subjects thoroughly. For achieving the same multiple readings of NCERT should be done.

Apart from that solving alot of previous years papers is also required which provides an insight of the pattern of the examination.

For getting extra edge in this entrance, you should keep yourself updated with current affairs and general knowledge of popular domains as 20 questions are related to general knowledge.

Hope it helps!

Hello,

As we all know AIIMS ,Delhi is the most prestigious Institute in India at present. It requires a very good level of preparation to get a seat in this Institute .First of your basics should be very clear and the NCERT book should be at the tip of your tongue .You should also refer to the Aakash and Allen modules and books like HC Verma,N Avasthi ,MS Chouhan,VK Jaiswal should be solved

To get a seat in in the Institute for the general category your all India rank should be under 60.And for categories like ST you should have a rank under 2000.

All the best for your future.Hope this helps.
