Hello Manisha,
I would like to know if you are preparing for the coming JEE Mains and Advanced, 2018 or the following year.
If it is 2018's, then this might be your revision time,
- Get the list of topics for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced(syllabus might not be same for both).
- Irrespective of what you have done in the past, believe that you'll be able to do it.
- Start over from the beginning of the list for three subjects.
- Plan a chapter from each subject for 2 days.
- Do a short reading, try to understand and practice a variety of problems on that topic in Mains level, as this is your second time reading, believe me, it'll be easier.
- For JEE Mains, I would suggest sticking to NCERT textbooks and go through reference books for further understanding, if it is unclear.
Once, you finish a short revision, start solving the previous JEE Mains papers as a mock paper to get acquainted with the paper pattern.Try to make a list of formulae for each subject which helps you for a quick revision.Try to have a look at them every day, so that you'll remember longer.Try to manage time, when you are attempting the mock tests.Attempting all questions is not the target, unless you want to be a Mains topper, try attempting ones you are sure about without gaining negative marks.
Post JEE Mains, JEE Advanced preparation can be done in the similar fashion, but a deeper understanding of topics is required. For JEE Advanced, the skill of solving problems on 2 or more topics is to be enhanced (Eg.Rolling with electromagnetism).
Lastly, the belief in yourself and passion in your goal are important ingredients of your preparation. If you're not really passionate enough about your goal of clearing JEE Mains or Advanced none can help you.Burning desire from within irrespective someone else's force is essential for a serious preparation.
All the best, do well. :)
