how to prepare for nda exam what is syllabus for nda exam

NDA is conducted twice a year by UPSC. This is an entrance exam for joining the either of the three wings of Armed Forces of India.

NDA Exam has two paper exam which is conducted in two shifts on same day. The first paper is Maths and second is General Ability Test.

Syllabus for NDA is -

Maths -

• Algebra ( Class 11th and 12th)
• Trigonometry ( Class 11th and 12th)
• Matrices and Determinant ( Class 12th)
• Co-Ordinate Geometry ( Class 11th)
• Integral and Differential Calculus ( Class 12th)
• Probability and Statistics ( Class 11th and 12th)
• Vector Algebra ( Class 12th)

General Ability Test has 6 sections - English, Physics, Chemistry, History and Civics, Geography, Current Affairs.

English -

• Vocabulary
• Comprehension
• Cohesion

Physics and Chemistry include basic and conceptual topics from NCERT Class 11th and 12th.

Current Affairs

Elementary Knowledge of Geography, History, Civics and Freedom Movements in India.

Prepare the topics thoroughly and do practise previous year NDA question papers. After Clearing Written Exam there is medical test and interview, so you also need to work on that
