If you want to take admission in Thapar University for computer science engineering then the eligibility criteria are slightly changed from this year:

70% of the total seats for BE/BTECH course will be filled on the basis of JEE MAIN Exam score he/she must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in the aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject OR Minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) marks in a Diploma recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of at least 3-year duration. ii. has appeared in JEE (Main)-2019.

30% of the total seats will be filled on the basis of 10+2 marks in PCM merit or equivalent examination in the aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject.

You should check the Cut off marks for CSE branch. Thapar has provided the online application form here: http://www.thapar.edu/admissions, you can fill this form with CSE Branch before the last day of submission and if you are eligible for all the mentioned criteria, then your application form will be submitted and you will get shortlisted for the internal exam at Thapar.

In order to take admission in Thapar university you have to appear for JEE Main exam.

Counselling will be held seperately by Thapar JEE.
