How we prepare for jee mains paper 2

Hello aspirant,
The best approach to prepare for the exam will be to combine your boards preparation with JEE Mainpaper 2 preparations, though the format may differ but the concepts remain the same.
Tips for B. Arch JEE:
Instead of learning by rote, focus on understanding the concept before moving on to the next topic. Refer to bothClass XIandXIIbooks for Maths especially.
Divide your syllabus in monthly and weekly segments and assign practical targets to achieve them.
Work on your observation skills and drawing to prepare for the Aptitude and Drawing tests. You may join a coaching class for drawing practice.
Utilize your Engineering Drawing notes for 2D/3D questions preparation.
Clear your doubt at the earliest to avoid any confusion later.
Try to add variation in your daily study schedule, like study Maths, Drawing and Aptitude related topics, to avoid monotony.
Make revision notes/flash cards on concepts, formulae, definitions etc. for each topic.
Solve enough sample papers and previous years tests to develop pace and practice. You can even take online mock tests for practice.
Books for B. Arch JEE:
Few useful reference books besides the CBSE NCERTs are:
1. A Complete Self Study Guide for B.Arch 2018 Entrance Examination (English) by P.K Mishra, Arihant Publications
2. Verbal & Non Verbal Reasoning Book by R.S. Aggarwal,
3. Architecture Entrance Book by P.K. Mishra.
All the best.

You can easily score a 300 if you are consistent with your subjects for an year.
For maths, take normal JEE level maths coaching as you would do for paper 1. I personally saw that paper 2 maths was easier than paper 1 maths in 2017.
For Architectursl aptitude, buyArihant Self Study guide for B. Arch. They wont put up questions beyond that. Thats the simplest part.
Even aesthetic ability questions can be found in the same book. You can easily score 180 in aptitude if you study that book thoroughly for a month. Thats enough.
Avoid silly mistakes.Especially on the aesthetic part. Silly mistakes costed me 20 marks in my exam this year.
For your drawing part, learn to draw dynamic2D compositions, and most importantly3D compositionswith effect of light and shadow. You should work out on1 point and 2 point perspective. You should be able tomirror an image or enlarge itto double its size.Birds eye view and worms eye viewcan also come but chances are low. Anyone with average drawing skills can easily get about 40+ in drawing part. 1 week dedicated to drawing would be enough.
As Boards marks are scrapped off our AIR this year, that doesnt mean that you shouldnt be worrying about your 12th. Study for boards aide by side. Paper 2 is easy and 240250 marks would be enough for NIT trichy i believe.
This book is fully sufficient for jee main paper 2 and NATA
