Hello Rajni,

As of now SSC has not announced any change in the marking pattern. The Tier I exam consists of four subjects - General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. There will be total 100 questions. Total marks allotted for the exam is 200. Two marks will be alotted for each correct response. For each wrong answer, 0.5 marks will be deducted. Tier II as per SSC CGL exam pattern consists of four papers – Paper I, II, III, IV. Each paper of Tier II will carry 200 marks. In Paper I, III and IV, for correct answer candidates will score 2 marks while in Paper II candidates will score 1 marks. For Paper I, Paper III and Paper IV, 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer and for Paper II, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect response.

@Rajni: Considerable alterations like an increase of 10-20 marks for the same rank is expected. Again it is yet to be confirmed.
