College of Engineering, Guindy is a public engineering college which is affiliated to Anna university. It is the oldest technical institution which was established in 1794. The college offers undergraduate Engineering degrees for various field like B.E in Computer Science and Engineering, B.E in Biomedical Engineering, B.E in Printing Technology, B. E in Civil Engineering, B.E in Industrial Engineering, B.Tech  Information Technology and offers postgraduate degrees such as MCA, M.Sc, MBA, M.Tech. Madras Institute of Technology, an engineering institute is located in Chennai, Madras. It is an autonomous constituent college of Anna University. The institute has been accredited 'A' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The institute provides degree for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses like B.E automobile engineering, B.Tech Information Technology, B.E Computer Science and Engineering, B.E Mechanical engineering, M.Phil Mathematics, M.Sc applied Mathematics, M.
