Firstly, congrats on been allotted a seat in the first round of JOSAA itself.

Basics:

After JoSAA registration, candidates have to fill in choices of institutes and courses in which admission is desired as per their preference. Only those students who complete the JoSAA registration and choice filling 2021 within the specified dates will be considered for seat allotment.

First round seat allotment of JOSAA was on October 27, 2021 (from 10.00 am)

Online reporting: fee payment / document upload / response by candidate to query (if required) (Round 1) was from October 27 to October 30(5pm)

If the Candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and does not wish to participate in the further rounds of counselling, then he/she can freeze the option and go further with the payment (payment relaxation depends on different categories).
