SSC CGL requires you to be between 18 and 32 years, based on different posts, although, certain relaxation is given to the reserved category. However, you must hold a bachelors degree, from any domain, as it's the minimum education qualification required.

Hence, to appear in SSC CGL 2022, you must be in between 18 to 32 years as of August 1, 2022 . The lower limit might vary for different posts:

1. Accountant/Junior Accountant, Senior Secretariat Assistant/Upper division Clerk (Ministry of Electronics and IT, Ministries other than CSCS Trade), Tax Assistant (CBDT, CBIC), Auditor (C&AG, CGDA Other Ministry/Department), Sub Inspector (Central Bureau of Narcotics) - 18 - 27 years .
2. Assistant Section Officer (AFHQ, Central Secretariat Service, Ministry of Railway, Ministry of External Affairs), Assistant (Other Ministries/departments), Sub Inspector (CBI) - 20 - 30 years .
3. Assistant section Officer, Inspector - CGST and Central Excise, Preventive Officer, Examiner, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Divisional accountant, sub Inspector, Statistical Investigator Scale - II, Inspector Income Tax, Research Assistant and more - 18 - 30 years .
4. Junior Statistical Officer - 18 - 32 years .

You need not to worry. You will be eligible for the test in 2023. Till then just keep your mind at peace and work hard!

The minimum age requirement to apply for SSC CGL is 18 years and 20 years depending on the posts. The minimum age must be 18 years as on January 1st in the year of application this is for the posts for which the minimum age requirement is 18 years. And the minimum age must be 20 years as on January 1st in the year of application this is for the posts for which the minimum age requirement is 20 years. Age is calculated as of January 1st in the year of application and not as of the date of the application. It means that your age as on January 1, 2022 must be 18 years if you are or 20 years depending on the post if you are applying for SSC CGL 2022. Your age as on January 1, 2022 will be less than 17 years so you cannot apply for SSC CGL 2022 but you can apply for SSC CGL 2023 provided you must have passed with the requisite education qualification.

SSC CGL eligibililty criteria for age is minimum 18 years .

At the time of notification you must complete 18 years of age or not born after 02/02/1995.clearly you are not eligible.you can apply for cgl 2023.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) may held SSC-CGL 2022 exam in April. For appearing this exam you must be an indian and have completed the graduation. The registration of Combined Graduate Level exam requires following documents:-

1. Passport size photo
2. Identity proof
3. Valid phone number and email ID
4. Education qualification document
5. Scanned photograph and signature.

You must apply in 2023 as the minimum age for applying for the exam is 18 years and maximum is 32( maximum depend on course you pursue).
