A PhD in clinical psychology/psychology is not a licensing degree for practicing as a psychologist. Clinical Psychologists are trained to understand a variety of aspects of mental health and are also trained in different evidence based therapies to work with clients with mental illness or difficult life situations.
Yes,you are eligible for being clinical psychologist.After completing PHD in clinical psychology you would be a professor you can't work as a clinical psychologist. for being a professional clinical psychologist I will suggest you to opt for Psyd clinical psychology after completing your masters. then you can work as a clinical psychologist .
