Hi dear,

May be you can get seat in NIT's ,GFIT with this rank because Admission in colleges depends upon Cut off list prepared by JoSAA. It depends on your rank you get but you should apply for counselling.

Pro Tip :

  • Apply for Home state NIT first through Home state quota.
  • Fill your counselling details very carefully
  • Before Applying for any college do check previous year cut off list and closing rank of that NIT's and IIIT's and GFTI's
  • Use Carrer 360 app to compare colleges, their ranking and check their reviews.

Hi

This is difficult to make prediction as  cutoff  depends upon various factors like :-

******* number of students/ candidates  that appeared in the  jee main exam,

******* number of available seats,

******* performance of different students in the examination,

******* the branch you want,

******* the category you belong etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then

With  53k rank,

In josaa, your chances in nits/ IIITs is a little low

You have chances in GFTIs,  as per round 6th , 2020 in josaa counselling , some of which are listed  below:-

-------) Institute of Technology, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Bilaspur, (C.G.):- IT :- 53755

-------) School of Engineering, Tezpur University, Napaam, Tezpur:- ECE :-58671

-------) Mizoram University, Aizawl:- electrical engineering:-62907

-------) National Institute of Foundry & Forge Technology, Hatia, Ranchi:- Metallurgy and Materials Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology):- 62323

You can check the closing ranks  at official website of josaa by going through the link given below
