I am a obc- ncl visually (eyes) 75%PWD candidate . I have got 21 percentile in jee main . can I get to give jee advance ?

Dear student,

The cut offs for jee mains have not been released yet but we can definitely predict your chances for qualifying jee mains. The expected cut off for jee mains 2021 on the basis of previous years cut off would be as follows:

  • Common Rank List (CRL) - 90- 95

  • GEN-EWS - 70- 75

  • Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 70- 75

  • Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50- 55

  • Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 40- 45

  • PwD - 1-2

Just for more information the cut off for previous year was as follows:

  • Common Rank List (CRL) - 90.3765335

  • GEN-EWS - 70.2435518

  • Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 72.8887969

  • Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50.1760245

  • Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 39.0696101

  • PwD - 0.0618524

Since you belong to pwd category you can easily clear the cut off with 20 percentile according to the previous years data, so Congratulations in advance!

sir , my dream is to go IiT Madras for engineering .
I have told you my jeemain percentile .If I get the average marks as jee main in jeeadance , can I chance in IITM ??

Souvik Mahato dear student, yes since you belong to pwd category, scoring average marks in jee advanced would be enough for you.

Souvik Mahato dear student,
you can opt for any branch of your choice but I would advice you to take up a branch that suits your interest because you can get a way to deal with your disability in every branch so don't worry about it. however I would advice you to take up non core branches like cse, ece, it, etc. to lower down your struggles.

Souvik Mahato Actually I don't think that except IT, or CSE you can fit in any of the branches because all the other branches require much more vision power.

Souvik Mahato Total marks keep on varying of jee advanced so I can tell you in terms of rank, you need to score a rank under 100-130 in pwd category to jee advanced to just get into iit madras, if you wish to take cse then you need a rank under 4 in pwd category.

I have doubts regarding jee mains.
Sir i am general pwd candidate
I want nit jamshedpur as my home state is jharkhand( jamshedpur)
I have scored 24.4 percentile in jee mains
As i cannot travel to any other city to pursue my studies due to my disability pls reply
