I am a pcm student I want to join Indian Navy what should I do
Hi
For a science student with pcm to join navy there are a couple of ways.
First to give the nda exam which is conducted twice a year in the month if september and april.
Note- Female candidates are not admitted through this exam
Secondly there is a technical entry which is based on the marks of jee mains exam.Though you don't beed to score very high in this as the competition is less but there is a ssb round after this which invludes interview. You need atleast 70% aggregate in 10+2 exam to qualify.
Thirdly there is an an artificer apprentice entry in which the candidate needs to be qualified in 10+2 examination with 60% or more marks in aggregate with Maths & Physics and atleast one of these subjects; Chemistry/Biology/Computer science from an educational board recognized by Central/State Government.
Note- Only male candidates can apply for this post

there are various ways you can get into navy while i am listing them in the below
NDA entrance exam
INA (INDIAN NAVAL ACADEMY)
NDA CADET ENTRY
i would also suggest make sure you go through the guideline and eligibility as they have lot set of rules
hope this helps
Though if you wish to join as an officer in the Indian Navy, the selection is through:
-
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) entries
-
Direct Entry Permanent Commission /Short Service Commission
-
University Entry Scheme (UES)
for which you would need a graduation degree first.
