Hello,

The educational eligibility criteria for UPSC CSE is that You need to have completed you graduation. So Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a reputed university. After this you need to qualify the Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Exam. The exam itself is structured into three parts – the Preliminary (Civil Services Aptitude Test – CSAT), Main Exam, and finally the Interview.

So it doesn't matter which course you take, you just need to hold a graduation degree. Therefore you may choose one based on which you find more interesting.

Chemical engineering is a branch that teaches the students the specialised concept of Chemical Engineering with in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of Chemical management and extraction concepts.

Bachelor of Pharmacy deals with the study about the drugs and medicines, the methods and process of preparing drugs, etc

Good Luck
