I am ba in sociology fm ignou.i want to take admission in civil law(LLB) .what is civl law criteria?
Hello,
Law can be thought of as a set of rules designed to regulate how people behave. In essence, laws made by a country or a political entity serve to regulate citizen behaviour. The Indian judicial system divides law into four categories: statute law, common law, civil law, and criminal law.
Civil law is one of the most important legal subjects for each and every citizen of the country. It assists in resolving a variety of non-criminal problems by adhering to the established protocols, rules, laws, and legal precedents. Conflicts can be interpersonal, familial, or workplace-related.
Starting from scratch, undergraduate students may choose to pursue a three-year LLB degree after graduation or a five-year integrated LLB programme in Civil Law. Candidates who want to pursue higher education can pick from law degrees like the LLM and Ph.D. The three main degree track options in civil law are integrated LLB, LLB, and LLM.
As per your choosen course -
LLB ( 3 years ) - Candidates must hold a graduating degree in any field with a minimum grade point average of 55%.
Integrated LLB ( 5 Years ) - Candidates must earn a minimum of 45% to 50% in their class 12 final grade in any stream.
Good Luck!!
