Hey,

The no. Of seats in Neet are double than MCAT but the no. Of students giving Neet are 25 times than MCAT.

Success rate for clearing MCAT in first attempt is 50% but for Neet, it is only 5%.

MCAT gives you more than 1.5 minutes for each question but Neet gives you less than 1 minute.

MCAT has passages for students to find answer but in Neet you have to remember everything.

Conclusion: clearing Neet Is far far more difficult than MCAT. Becoming doctor in India is far more difficult than In USA.

But to give MCAT you must be a graduate from some other course and it straight gives you MD but Neet gives you MBBS. Then you should give Neet PG to get MD(extremely more difficult to get than in MCAT).

If we compare college fees,Indian govt. Colleges (usually 150$ -500$ annually) has neligible college fees than USA(22,000$ annually).

This is the truth, I hope it helps.

MCAT is surely difficultIt requires very high level off english which is far different than what an indian student knows, and if you have command upto that level you can attemp most of the questions of english vocabulary as well as other subjects in which paragraph is already given for the clue.

This Is Total Illogical. MD Is Basic Medical Degree In USA And Many Countries. While MBBS Is Basic Medical Degree In UK And Many South Asain Nations. The Syllabus In Both MD In USA And MBBS Is Almost Same. In India You Can Practice Medicine Right After Completing MBBS But In US After Completion Of MBBS You Have To Go Under Residency That Normally Lasts Between 3 -6 Years Depending Upon Branch. After Completion Of Residency You Can Practice Medicine In US. Secondly To Give MCAT You Must Be Graduate. While In India Minimum Requirement To Get To Medical College Is Just 12th Pass.

Now Many Nations Are Shifting Their Medical Education Pattern From UK Type To US Type As It Has Better Advantages Than UK Form.
