Applying for BTech degree after diploma is quite different, either you can go for entrance examinations for deemed universities or go for examination to get into state govt colleges. From there you can directly join in the year or writing jee mains and jee advanced to get into iits and nits, but in iits and nits, you have to start from the first year.
