i am currently preparing to do a btech through normal college. my family suggest me saying it will be good for me but i dont have any interest towards engineering. what should i do? should i go for btech or normal graduation

What I suggest is to go with the filed you have interest as you are not interested in Engineering there is no use of choosing it as Career because due to lack of interest you might not study and might not score well in Engineering, then what is the use of studying Engineering in this case that too from a normal Engineering College.
You can go for degree instead of doing Engineering from a normal Engineering College because there is no much difference between degree and Engineering from normal College that too in which you don't have interest.
If you choose degree in which you have interest like Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, etc you can save 1 year (because B.E/ B.Tech is for 4 years and normal degree is for 3 years) and you will have satisfaction because you are study course in which you have interest and alao there is scope for good score to option in the degree and get good job based on it.
Try to convince your parents and make them understand this in a proper way and the way they can understand it easily. At the end, your interest is important because ultimately you are the one who is going to study.
