According to me after doing B.Sc Hons in Chemistry, ideally you have the following options post Graduation, considering better career scope and prospects.
1. Complete an Associate Degree (Equivalent to B.Tech) in either of Computer Science, Mechanical, Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering from Organizations like AIChE, Institution of Engineers or Indian Institute of Metals. You may even plan to pursue ME/MTech from some of the higher technical institites like Top IITs, NITs, BITS Pilani, IISc Bangalore post this, for better career prospects.
2. Instead of using two-three more years for a Diploma, you may plan to pursue a MBA after B.Sc, if interested.
3. M.Sc. (Chemistry) + PhD (Chemistry)
4. If interested you may prepare for Government and Public Sector Exams like SSC CGL, UPSC CSE, SBI PO, BARC, DRDO, RRB Grade B.
5. MCA from some of the Top NITs or GFTIs like NIT Trichy, Warangal, Calicut, Surathkal, Nagpur, Jamshedpur, Rourkela, Allahabad and Jaipur.
