i am doing btech in etc and im i 4th year. can i apply for gate cs 2019? will i face any difficulty in my future due to the shift in branch?
Here's the eligibility criteria that you need to qualify for GATE.
- Candidates should have completed their Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology or Masters degree (M.Sc) in any relevant science subject or must be in the final year of the programme.
- While applying for GATE 2019, there is no minimum pass percentage in the qualifying degree.
- Age Limit -There is no age limit for applicants of GATE.
Best of luck
If you can study both streams, then obviously you'll excel in it.
Don't worry. Just go and at least give it a try.
All the best!
I hope CSE after ETC won't be too much of work load!
Hi madhumita
If you are familiar with some of the programming languages and if you can proceed further to computer science subjects then its not a big deal in changing the branch, and you can apply for GATE 2019.
Best of Luck!
stay clam and enjoy work.
