i am from gujarat i study in 12 sci if want to take admission in b.tech in college out of gujarat then is it compulsory to give gujcet

Hope you are doing great. So, if you wish to study in the colleges of Gujarat, you should give GUJCET. However, you stated that you don't wish to join in Gujarat, so, there is no need for GUJCET exam. You can give an attempt in JEE Mains exam, because you would get a college at any corner in India, based on your rank.
Further, if you already had planned regarding any state or college, you are wishing to join, then you can just give that state's entrance exam, or else that particular university's entrance exam.
