Yes, you will be able to participate in JEE main 2022.
Because of this,
Starting from the year of passing the 12th board test, one can take the JEE Mains entrance examination for a maximum of three years in a row.
So,
You will be eligible for JEE main 2021, JEE main 2022, and JEE main 2023 if you take your 12th board exam in 2021.
Yes , you will be eligible for JEE main 2022.
This is because,
One can give JEE Mains entrance examination for a maximum of 3 consecutive years starting from the year of passing 12th board examination .
So,
if you appear for your 12th board examination in 2021 you will be eligible for JEE main 2021, JEE main 2022 and also for JEE main 2023
If I tell you about number of attempts you have then,
JEE Main entrance examination will be conducted 4 times a year i.e
*February session
* March session
*April session.
* May session
Out of these four attempts , the best score obtained by you is considered for admission process
So, the maximum number of attempts for jee mains entrance examination
= 4 times *3 years
= 12 attempts in total
So, one has a total of 12 attempts over 3 consecutive years starting from the year of passing 12th board examination.
So if you pass your 12th board examination in 2021 then you will be eligible for all the 4 sessions of JEE mains 2021, all the 4 sessions of JEE mains 2022 and all the 4 sessions of JEE mains 2023
So, you have a total of
4 x 3 = 12 attempts
But if you don't appear in 2021 JEE mains then you will be eligible for only JEE main 2022 and jee main 2023,that means you will have only 8 attempts left.
