Hello,
JEE comprises of a gamut of a Syllabus therefore there can't be a verdict on the number of question, the only key is to practice as much as possible and to hold a strong grip on fundamentals.
Completing the homework provided by your teacher would definitely provide you with an edge but self study is the thing where the game changes.

Dear Aspirant,
See there is no fixx amount of questions for anybody, its according to your understanding of subject . If you are struggling with a specific topic more then try to do more questions on it and explore it completely , make your weakness your strength, class 11th is best time for it. Don't keep any doubts in your mind of any subject, clear all your doubts with teachers,
else it will saturate. Doing 30-40 numericals of each subject daily is good, maintain this pace and be consistent.
Also when you attempt these try to attempt in one go and have a timer beside , and try to do fix amount of questions in specific time this will enhance your accuracy and you'll be comfortable with time pressure in exam.
