Artificial intelligence(AI) is a field that is gaining popularity by the day. It is an interdisciplinary course and in India, there are next to nil colleges offering this course in the Bachelor's degree level. Taking ECE will give you a wide understanding of this field and will help you strengthen your basics in electronics, circuitry and will teach you to interface your software and hardware aspects. Alternatively, you can also do your bachelor degree in Computer Sciences, IT or Mechatronics. In addition to this, you can always learn various coding languages, do online courses on AI and Machine learning and equip yourself to take it up as a specialisation in your masters level. A few colleges offering AI at a post-graduate level are IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, ISI Kolkata, IISc Bangalore and the University of Hyderabad.

Artificial intelligence is nowadays most loved areas by students.Firstly you make sure that what part of artificial intelligences you want to enhance or might have interest. Then you will Decide accordingly-

1. If you like to deal with its function or coding areas or machine learning only then you might prefer CSE branch of that college.

2. But if you want to know how the robot perform task smoothly and you like to deal with Signals then You would prefer ECE branch of that college.

As CBSE just add this as Subject in its course of 9th standard.It has scope in future days.
