Hi
First of all you are not late at all for your SBI PO preparation .
This is because,
Minimum age required to be eligible for SBI PO is 21 years and you are only 20 ,so you have 1 complete year i.e plenty of time to prepare and believe me many people clear SBI PO examination with just 1 year of preparation and you can do that too, provided you prepare for it with honesty ,dedication and perseverance
Also , stop thinking that you are late for preparation because the more you think about it, the more you will regret , now you have only two options either keep thinking about the time you have wasted in the past or forget all these and move ahead, prepare well and clear SBI PO examination.
For your English you can go through following books and master the language
- High School English Grammar and Composition by Wren & Martin.
- General English by SP Bakshi (Arihant Publication)
- Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis.
Follow the below tips to prepare :-
- First of all go through SBI PO syllabus and its exam pattern
- Go through the previous years’ question papers and see the level of difficulty of the question paper so that you can prepare accordingly
- You can take help of video tutorials available free on platforms like YouTube as well
- Go through newspaper daily for General Knowledge and current affairs
-
Once you are done with syllabus go through mock test and identify weak areas and work on them
Thank you
Dear Aspirant,
It is not that our education is the only thing which defines us, if your circumstances have not allowed to you to shine academically then you can look for something other than academics to shine.
See if you are having problems with the english then do not approach it in a academic way, at least at first try to get familiar with english as a language and not as a subject. The best excercise to do this is to read.
You must get your newspaper in english, there are many options like TOI, IE, THE HINDU. Make a habit of reading the english paper daily. Along with that you can also start with reading books, literature is the best way to get familiar with the language, watch movies, youtube everything in english.
And once you are 1 month into this, start preparing for the exam then only.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
