I am not not from madras, I am filling the form for university of madras, their is a option of put initila, I won't have initila, what should I put their? what does initila mean, I am putting any thing to it it affect the name of mine...

The first letter of the surname or name is the initial. In this case it is surname. Please enter the first letter of your surname in the place of initial in the application form. If your surname happens to be your father's name then put the first letter of your father's name in the space against initial in the application form.
