Hello Aspirant There is no need to be confused, According to NEET information brochure those who belong to OBC NCL Category at state level but are not in the central list should select general as their category while filling the NEET application form. It means Whether you need to choose OBC NCL while filling NEET application form or not depends on whether you are in the central list of OBC NCL or not. Check the central list , and if you are in the central list of OBC NCL then only choose OBC NCL as your category Otherwise you must choose general category while filling the NEET application form. Also, If you don't belong to OBC-NCL at central level While filling the form of state counselling you can definitely choose OBC-NCL because you belong to OBC-NCL at state level and can avail benefit for State Level Counseling.
Hope this helps
Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you as you are O.B.C at state level but General category at central level so you should certainly fill General category in N.E.E.T application form because you will be treated as O.B.C category candidate in your home state but at central level you will be considered as general category student but at the time of counselling in state level colleges you can mention yourself as a O.B.C category student.
Hope you found this answer useful. Stay motivated stay positive.
All the best!
