I am planning on going with this exam after my btech but my language skills has gone down to a large extent. Being in 11th, what shall I do

first of all you should focus on your board exam.because you have English 11th and 12th.
you can take admission in B-Tech only when you have passed in English and many Institutions admission criteria is minimum 60% in Engilsh.

1)Try learning a new word daily from the dictionary with it's meaning , use ad pronounciation.If you don't get the pronounciation in the dictionary you can use google for this purpose.
2)Try reading the newspaper daily.This will help you lear the use of words and how to skillfully use the words in a sentence. Newspaper is the best source to learn.
3) English story books or movies will be fine to make you fluent in it.
4)And last, you can buy books on IELTS preparation and solve questions from it.
These should be enough to get you through the examination.
