I am preparing to get admission in a foreign university, but after 12th should I just do TOEFL & IELTS and then apply for admission or complete a science course in IIT and then apply for admission? Which option will have more chances of getting admission?
Hi, there are a few things that you should look after when it comes to doing your Bachelor's degree. Since, you are planning on doing your undergraduate program from abroad it is going to be a lot more expensive than India. Also, the course is of 4 years. Once you decide you want to go abroad there is no looking back for 4 years minimum. If you get into IIT it is worth studying there too. If your main aim is to have a life experience abroad then I believe you can try for masters as it for 1-2 years only. So, to conclude it is safe to say that you write down what you want to do and sort it out that way. Also, TOEFL and IELTS is not always required get it checked by a good and legit counselor. Also make sure you talk to people in the universities you want to apply to, to get a clear idea of what it is like to be in that university. You can do this on LinkedIn.
