The minimum educational qualification for IAS exam is that a candidate must hold a degree from any university incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, or other educational institution established by an Act of Parliament, or declared to be deemed as a university under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.
Eligibility Criteria for UPSC CDS Exam
i) For Indian Military Academy/Officers’ Training Academy: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent
ii) For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognisedUniversity/Institution
iii) For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering
Educational Qualification for RBI grade B: Candidate appearing for the RBI officer examination-2018 must be a graduate from a recognized university or institute. He/Shemust have attained 60% marks in the graduation while the same percentage is reduced to 50% for the candidates belonging to the reserved category.
