I am unable to understand RCs in verbal section. Can you please suggest some technique?

you can use books like Arun Sharma , Chandresh agarwal for CAT verbal ability. read two newspaper daily. For acing well in the exam, you shoukd use the famous bottom up approach where reading questions first and then reading passage is helpful.
Solve Maximum questions on deciding tone of passage and drawing inference from passages because they are most frequently asked .
A minimum of 60 coreect questions overall and minimum of 22 coreect questions in each sections will help you touch 99 percentile. For more than that, you need to score 80 correct questions overall. As per last 3 year trends, a score of 340 is considered well for 99 percentile. Give online mock exams to predict your score and eliminate your weaknesses. Testfunda, Oliveboard, Careerlauncher, HitbullsEye are some great helpful websites. Solve maximum papers as you can to be a champion. All the Best..

RCs can be really tricky when it comes to CAT. You need a lot of practice for that. Arun Sharma has a book on verbal ability preparation for CAT. You could get that book and start solving exercises. The more you practice the more acquainted you will get and the better you will get. You would need to increase your reading speed as well and for that you would have to practice as much as you can. Start by solving the level one exercises in the book and then move on to higher levels. Read the newspaper or any book at all times. It will not only help you increase your reading speed which a must for RC but also increase your knowledge base.
When you get a little better start giving tests on verbal ability on online sites such as testfunda and oliveboard which provide such tests. It will help you measure how much better you have got. Keep practicing and remain consistent. That will help you in RC.

To be really good at RC, one has to be good at reading. Just reading voraciously may not result in improvement in RCs, though it definitely helps. What is more important is that you do a lot of experimentation while reading. You need to know when to read slow and when to read fast for maximum comprehension.
Technically there are 3 ways to read the passage. Some of them are:
- The Classic Way - Read the passage first and then attempt the questions after comprehension.
- The Bottom-up Approach - Read the questions first and then read the passage and then read the questions and then answer.
- The New Age approach - Read the first question as it is adjacent to the passage and then follow the classic way. (You will get the details for it online)
Attempt those passage first which you are comfortable in and so you will be able to manage time accordingly.
