Hello Aspirant, Joint Seat Allocation Authority(JOSAA) counciling is just based upon your JEE MAINS and JEE ADVANCED marks, the seat will be according to marks obtained by you in JEE MAINS or JEE ADVANCED Exam.
But Additionally you have to take PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) as your subject in 12th board and you have to score at least 75% in board exam or you should be in the list of top 20% student of your respective board.
JOSAA has nothing to do with which subject you have taken as optional and which language you have studied or you have not given any exam, if you are pass in 5 subjects including PCM and you are among top 20% student of your respective board or have 75% marks then you are eligible for Counciling.
Feel free to ask any queries replated to this in comment section.
