I belong to OBC in UP(Jat). Jats are considered OBC in NCT Delhi also but not in Central government. But I have caste certificate issued by UP government. Will this certificate work for getting admission into NSUT/DTU/IIIT D under Outside Delhi reservation of OBC ?

Hello Aspirant,

No you will not be considered under OBC-NCL reservation category for admission to either NSUT/IIIT-D/DTU. This is because if your category does not lie under the central reservation list of OBC available on the official website of NCBC and therefore you cannot use the OBC reservation certificate issued for state level benefits of Uttar Pradesh, in Delhi colleges.

For admission to aforesaid institutions you need to appear for JAC counselling for which you will have to use your category as general until and unless you lies under the central reservation list available at the official website of NCBC.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
