I belong to the obc ncl category but recently found out that my caste is not in the central list of obc it's only in my state list of obc. Instead I am valid as GEN EWS category student but I have already filled my JEE MAINS 1st attempt form. What should I do now please help me. PLEASE.

Dear aspirant,
As you belong to the obc category but as you mentioned your caste is not in the Central list and now you are recognised as general ews candidate so let me tell you the eligibility criteria for the ews candidates:-
- Your family income should not be more than 8L per annum.
- You should not own more than 5 acres of land.
- You should not own a residential area of more than 1000 sqft .
As now you have to edit your category that would be only possible when the correction window opens but I still doubt whether you would be able to edit your category. Generally photograph corrections are made.
