I belongs to SEBC category and passed XII CBSE board with GENERALcategory. Can I get an admission in engg. college on basis pf SEBC quota now? Pleas respond at your earliest... Thanks in advance.
Hi Deepak, it does not matter with which category you have qualified your 12th or earlier classes/exams. You are always eligible to avail the benefits of reserved category (SEBC) until unless you satisfy the eligibility criteria. Moreover, you will need the caste/category certificate to get admission in any university with SEBC quota. To get you caste certificate, you can visit the nearby Tehsil Office. If you fail to submit the category/caste certificate, then you will be treated as a general/open category candidate and will be refrained to avail any benefits of reserved category quota.
