It should be totally your choice about which branch your are interested in.There is equal opportunity in any of the sectors,its just where your interest is.You should have interest on a field to excel in that.If you talk about package then if you will get in IIMs then your package will be above 10 lakhs from any branch.

And package doest matter, if you have interests in a field and if you will do good in that then automatically you will earn a good amount of money.
